It has taken so long to get this book out for a number of reasons, though in my defence I have written and released the full length prequel too. I’m really proud of A Bond of Sovereigns and Souls. I love how both Hugo and Diamond grow. They become more independent and powerful in their own ways but also grow closer together. Diamond is far from the blushing teenager we met in book one! And Hugo.*whew! Fans self* He realises how much the Queen has controlled his life and manipulated his emotions.
